Contemporary and spacious, this private pool beach house boasts a peaceful minimalist setting indoors and out offering comfort, simplicity, and serenity.
The prized second-row position within the charming Bird’s Nest section on the island’s south end provides delightful peek-a-boo ocean views from the front porches and second floor common areas as well as easy access to the beach. Creek access is only a short two blocks away.
A resort-inspired pool offers shade, sun, and tons of fun! Splash under the warmth of the sun or chill out under the cool shade of the house in the L-shaped pool loaded with extras, including a waterfall, tanning ledge, jetted nook, and submerged bar stools near the stairs leading directly to a poolside bar.
The immense, open-concept common areas on the second floor boast a soaring wood-inlaid ceiling and abundant natural light. The combination living/dining area has direct access to one of two furnished front porches, LED electric fireplace, wet bar with ice maker/wine chiller, and fully equipped kitchen.
Bedrooms are located on every floor. Four are on the first floor – two en suite with queen bed and two with a en suite bath in between, offering queen and double. The main (second) floor has one en suite bedroom with king bed, and then the Bunk Loft (partial third floor) has a three-tier double bed bunk set plus a single bed, half bath, mounted TV, arcade, hoop toss, and other fun games.
With a couple of exceptions, all bedrooms have a smart TV, ceiling fan, porch access, and en suite bathroom - no ceiling fan in bunk loft; no TV or direct porch access in first floor double bed bedroom. The shared en suite full bath on the first floor has a tub/shower; all other full baths have a walk-in shower.

GROUND FLOOR: Private pool, pool bar with TV, furnished patio, restroom (half), outdoor H/C shower, fenced yard, covered parking, private driveway.
POOL: L-shaped sun/shade pool offers an open-sky section with waterfall and tanning ledge and shaded under-the-house section with submerged bar stools, jetted nook with built-in bench, and stairs to the poolside bar. Additional amenities include the paved patio surround, deck seating, evening pool lighting, outdoor dining set, grill, mounted smart TV, ceiling fans, restroom, and hot/cold shower. Pool heating is available for an additional fee and only when the outdoor temps hold above 67 degrees. Order at least 24 hours ahead for heat to take effect.

BEACH ACCESS: Southern Malibu guests can find easy boardwalk access to the beach just five doors down heading north at the corner bend of Atlantic Ave.
PARKING: Covered parking under house available for 3 vehicles plus private driveway can park 2 vehicles.
HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping are additional costs for monthly stays.
LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday in summer. Partial-week stays may be considered for last-minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.
DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and will be required to pay additional rent of $250 for one dog or $375 for two dogs. Maximum 2 dogs. For monthly stays, additional rent is $300 for one dog, $600 for two. Dogs are allowed on the beach during daylight hours and must be leashed. See Pet Policy on RENTAL INFO page.
