"We decided to take a family vacation this year and invite some friends along. We couldn't have picked a better house to relax and enjoy the beach! The location of this house is just a few minutes walk to the beach. The layout of the house is great in that every bedroom has a bath attached so there is no tripping over each other to use the bathroom. The family room is large with two conversation areas.- Carol, Charlotte, NC

Had great week here. Despite the hurricane the week before the house was in good working order. Location great. 3-4 min walk to beach. Loved being on the canal and watching birds. There is kayak/boat launch down steet that we used a lot. House well maintained and well stocked.
Had to ride through the storm to get there< but it was totally worth it!!! Fishing behind the house, basketball to the side and the beach to the front. Nothing but awesomeness!!!
We rented this house because we loved the fact that each bedroom had its own bath. It also looked charming in a shabby chic way. So...we could have had this house off the beach for the price we wanted to pay or we could have gotten something bare bones and charmless on the beach. The house lived up to its promise, except that the WiFi doesn't work very well. It was intermittent. Fine for our crowd, but you wouldn't want to take a working vacation, dependent on the Internet. The folks who inspect after cleaning apparently missed the white pet hair on the laminate flooring, so we cleaned it up ourselves, but took some to the real estate company and told them, just because we thought they should know. Take your own knives and cutting board if you want to cook. The knives were predictably dull and we only found a tiny plastic cutting board. We expected this would be the case, so we had what we needed, including a wok.
