"We decided to take a family vacation this year and invite some friends along. We couldn't have picked a better house to relax and enjoy the beach! The location of this house is just a few minutes walk to the beach. The layout of the house is great in that every bedroom has a bath attached so there is no tripping over each other to use the bathroom. The family room is large with two conversation areas.- Carol, Charlotte, NC

Had great week here. Despite the hurricane the week before the house was in good working order. Location great. 3-4 min walk to beach. Loved being on the canal and watching birds. There is kayak/boat launch down steet that we used a lot. House well maintained and well stocked.
Had to ride through the storm to get there< but it was totally worth it!!! Fishing behind the house, basketball to the side and the beach to the front. Nothing but awesomeness!!!
Service is courteous and friendly but just a little slow on arrival. House was very clean. The cleaning lady did an excellent job. House has new carpet and flooring which was great improvement over last year. House layout is great with open kitchen, dining and den area. Each bedroom having its own bath is very nice feature. Could use some additional cutting knives in the kitchen. Mattress in the master bedroom downstairs is marginally okay. Could use an upgrade. Screen porch is nice. The sofa in front of the TV in the den is worn and not very comfortable. House had small charcoal grill this year which was better than no grill last year. We really enjoyed our week! Would be nice if canal could be dredged but we know the environmentalists would have a heart attack.
