DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. You are responsible for any damage caused by your dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and will be required to pay $200 additional rent; plus an additional $100 rent for second dog. Maximum 2 well behaved dogs. Great location at end of Litchfield South, ocean on one side, salt marsh on other, view to Pawley's over tip of island at front - Incredible! Plenty of room for all 9 of us and a boxer, dog friendly porch/deck, 5 bedrooms each with a bath, updated kitchen. It was as advertised. We spent time on beach on one side and launched canoe and kayak on the other into salt marsh/creeks. Very private, perfect for my family.

We absolute love this location and would stay there again. We previously rented this property in 2013 and were pleasantly surprised to see that the owners had made some upgrades in the interim. New TVs in all of the bedrooms as well as in the kitchen were a plus (and needed). My husband actually bought a hammock back in 2013 to hang on the deck (and brought home with us) - but was glad to see that a permanent hammock has been added. Love watching the surf come in as well as watching the tidal marshes ebb and flow. A wonderful beach home for those who want to kick back and truly decompress.

Hard to find genuine people these days, but the people at Litchfield Real Estate were all very friendly and very helpful which I truly appreciated. Our family which consisted of 10 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs had a wonderful week at The Point. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and the view was spectacular. The elevator was a plus for bringing in supplies and for those in the group who had a hard time with climbing stairs. The wrap around wide porch was a big hit with everyone including the dogs. Yes the rent is a little pricey, no the house is not perfect, but The Point checked off everything our family needed for a wonderful, fun and relaxing family vacation!
