The condo was absolutely perfect for our long weekend getaway. It is 1-2 blocks from the beach, which is private, quiet, and stunning. There are also 2 pools, but we didn't make it to either because of the beach! There is a great little hotel about 3/4-mile down the beach where you can go for food/drinks, and there are numerous restaurants/grocery stores within a few miles. The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, which was so convenient for a large group. There is lots of seating (large living room and kitchen dining room table) and a nice balcony out back (with screened-in porch). The house is clean, comfortable, and beachy-chic; it had everything we needed and we were so happy with our choice to stay there. Looking forward to coming back to Litchfield/Pawleys Island already!
I stayed here with a group of friends in August 2016, and we had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful, well-stocked (even with two kinds of coffee!), and comfortable. I particularly loved the open-air modern kitchen and the cozy family room by the back porch. It was also great that each of the four bedrooms had its own bathroom! The house was a 60-second walk to the beach and to several pools in the development. The house also had a closet full of beach chairs and a beach umbrella. I was so pleased with our visit and would absolutely recommend this rental!
This unit has been somewhat updated and probably needed it. These condos in Inlet Point are older. The kitchen had a corian countertop and great working oven/stove combo and the fridge is fantastic. For the most part the kitchen is well stocked if not over stocked with glasses and dishes. Thankful for a separate pantry to store our personal items. The den furnishings need some help. While they look pretty and accommodating in seating, the couch and love seat are older and not very comfortable with the pull out beds inside. The bed rooms and linens were lovely and we appreciated the many blankets and extra pillows. Such a plus. Great beach area and easy walk to the ocean for older children! NOTE: The rental company uses a laundry service, which is nice, but the towels and what you are given for the bathrooms is very sparce (1 towel per person) and older linens.
4 bedroom 4 bath (3 ensuite) 2 story marsh front 80's condo recently and tastefully refurbished was an excellent choice for our 3 family group of grand children, parents and grandparents (8 total). Convenient walk (400-500 feet) to ocean beach. 2 pools on property for 80+ units and community crabbing creek pavilion were the amenities. Rental agent's rather strict and significant departure duties -- re dishes, trash, towels etc. took a little luster off an otherwise excellent long weekend rental experience. We would definitely return to this unit again.
This is our first year as renters after many years as an owner at Litchfield By the Sea. We liked the unit for our family - good floor plan for a family. The unit was very attractive. We would have liked access to beach chairs. Probably too much to ask, but an umbrella and bikes would have made everything perfect. The kitchen had all the basics which was great. We also left several items for the next family - napkins, paper towels, etc. We would rent again. Litchfield Real Estate was very nice - candy, drinks, friendly. All a plus! We had a light switch that needed to be replaced and the service was prompt and efficient. Thank you.
Our family usually loves to spend Easter at Litchfield Beach because summer can be too crowded. We have family in the area so we usually see them and go to Easter services. We have many local restruants we enjoy coming back to and several shops we always check out as well as use a rainy day to drive up to the Outlets. Our condo rental was perfect this year we had just enough space for two families to spread out and having four bathrooms was heavenly with four teenagers and four adults. The carpet was fine it could have used a cleaning and I would upgrade the hot water heater and toilets to lower your bills. Thanks for letting us stay!
