The pictures do not do this place justice. The rooms are bigger then they appear, which was a pleasant surprise. The TV/sitting room just off the family/living room had the most beautiful view of the marsh. It literally looked like a painting. And the room was just far enough away from the kitchen/living room to give people a space to relax, but still be close to the rest of the family. The big table and kitchen bar set up worked perfect for all of us to eat our meals together. And the large table doubled as a great family game space. The downstairs family room and bedrooms didn't smell moldy or musty being that close to the water. Also a great space for people to gather around and puzzle or relax. I would have liked the house to be a little cleaner upon arrival, but I did appreciate the welcome bag from Litchfield Real Estate to get us started before running out for supplies. The backyard and deck/dock were really the reason we choose this place. Perfect for fishing and putting our kayaks in the water. The deck looked like it had recently been updated so it was super clean and everyone enjoyed sitting out there and relaxing. And it was a short walk to the beach so we really felt like we had the best of both worlds. I can't wait until we get a chance to go back down to Pawleys and take advantage of this fun house again!
