Welcome to Autumn at the Beach
Posted by admin | Saturday, September 22, 2012

Today is the first day of Autumn and it’s a beautiful time to be at the beach. Litchfield Beach vacations provide you with the opportunity to attend festivals and special events that are taking place this time of year in the area. The extreme heat of summer is behind us and the crowds are sparser. But it’s still sunny and warm and the beaches are always worth walking on or relaxing in a lounge chair with a good book. We have many available rentals at this time that are offering reduced off-season rates as well as some with special deals going on. Litchfield Beach vacations are some of the most special times you can have in South Carolina. Once you get away from the traffic and congestion of Myrtle Beach to the north, it’s a whole other world. One you’re just going to love vacationing in. Mark your calendars for the following events coming up soon. Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art will be held Sept. 27- Oct. 14, 2012. The festival will showcase visual and performing arts. Observe and take in visual arts by visiting the Gallery Crawl which will feature art from Murrells Inlet to Georgetown or have a taste of wine, fine hors d’oeuvres, and live entertainment at the Pawley’s Island Wine Gala. The Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival takes place on Friday - Sunday, September 28 - 30, 2012 at Atalaya Castle in Huntington Beach State Park (16148 Ocean Hwy) in Murrells Inlet. The festival features more than 100 fine artisans and provides aesthetic beauty against a background of natural beauty. Enjoy fine art, quality crafts, Lowcountry food, and the area’s finest musicians, all in one place.
