When you’re planning on taking your four-legged family members along with you on vacation it’s sometimes hard to find a place accepting of them. Many resorts just don’t value your pet as much as you and your family do. Bring them along with you when you come to stay with us at Litchfield Real Estate because we can provide you with pet-friendly vacation rentals where your family and your pets will both feel welcome! Our dog-friendly vacation rentals offer you and your best four-legged buddy some of the most comfortable places to stay in the area. Fully furnished and beautifully decorated vacation homes are perfect for enjoying time away with your pets by your side. When you want to take your dog out for socialization try one of the area’s dog parks. Dogs just love these local parks and they’re all fenced in for the safety of your dogs! Following is a list of some of the parks in the area.   Dog Parks in the Area Freeway Park in Murrells Inlet is a 3+ acre dog park that is fenced in. It includes a clean fishing pond, tables w/chairs, complimentary poo bags, doggie shower, and more $5 per pet. Surfside Beach Dog Park located between 1st Avenue and Pine Drive by the Town of Surfside Beach Library. Myrtle Beach Barc Parc North, 5000 Claire Chapin Epps Dr. Myrtle Beach. The Barc Park North is located off of 62nd Ave in Myrtle Beach. Off-leash dog park with 3.3 acres. Two separate fenced areas, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. Tree cover to offer shade and water fountains to quench the pup’s thirst. Myrtle Beach Barc Parc South, 670 Mallard Lake Dr., Myrtle Beach. This 14-acre fenced dog park features a large lake that dogs love. The park has a walking path and benches, doggie fountains and free baggies. Waggin’ Tails Dog Park. The North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex offers a fenced in playground for your dog! The dog park includes separate fenced in areas for small (<25lbs) and large dogs from 6:30 a.m. to sundown. There are also many beaches in the area where dogs are welcome to enjoy a run at any time of the year but some have restrictions. Certain beaches and conservation properties will restrict dogs during the nesting seasons for different species of birds. Please pay attention to the signage when you enter a beach access to understand what the restrictions, if any, may be.
