“Paradise at the beach!”

This place was fabulous! If you ever wanted to stay on a beachfront location in South Carolina, then, this is the place. This was the 1st time that we stayed in a rented home rather than a hotel and we will never go back to hotel. The comfort that you get just makes this place absolutely enjoyable. You can’t get any closer to the beach than this. It was very clean and beautiful inside. Plenty of room, a nice deck, front porch and privacy are just a few things that sum up “Joyce’s Place”. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Being pet friendly makes a vacation that much more enjoyable for a family, with no more worrying about how the dog is back at home, while you are away. Plenty of covered parking on the property with a very nice front yard as well. We had absolutely no complaints and will return every year for our vacation. I highly recommend this home as you vacation spot – you will not be sorry!

My family and I had visited Pawley’s Island previously and were searching for a modest home for a week’s vacation. We found Litchfield Realty and Flickinger on line. Descriptions were clear and accurate, rates were posted and most reasonable, and the staff at Litchfield was wonderful. (I particularly liked the fudge at the Saturday morning check-in.) We hope to return in the future.

We absolutely LOVED Flickinger. The house was spacious, nicely furnished and provided ample privacy for everyone staying with us. The location was so nice. The walk was quick and the privacy of the home as compared to other beach destinations was unparalleled. We absolutely loved our time on Pawley’s staying at Flickinger. We have rented other beach houses on the island but this was my favorite by far. My only complaint was that there was no bathtub to bathe small kids in. My 9 month old fit nicely in the sink but my older son had to quickly figure out how to take a shower which he wasn’t too thrilled about. Otherwise, there was absolutely nothing that we didn’t enjoy about the house.

We absolutely loved the house. Was definitely large enough to accommodate our growing families. It was comfortable. Location was a question before we arrived, but our golf cart made the trek to the beach a piece of cake. The dock was fantastic for fishing, sunning or taking out the kayaks. The multiple living areas were great..nice for sending the kids downstairs to have their own space..really like the sun room, especially in the mornings. Kitchen was well equipped. Table was nice and big. Ice machine was a nice extra. And the elevator was great for bringing in groceries as well as for luggage. We hope to visit again soon”
