“Great Vacation Home”

A great place to spend time with your family. The walk to the beach isn’t that far, plus the front porch allows you the opportunity to hear the ocean as you relax. Really a nice place to stay on vacation. My family were there last year and will be there again this year.

My family stayed here for several years in a row more than a decade ago. We decided to return but I have to admit I was a bit concerned whether it would be as good as we all remembered. IT WAS EVEN BETTER! The house was very well maintained and there were many upgrades and improvements. We love the screened in porch that we remembered and the new sunroom that had been added on to the back. The kitchen is fully equipped and we ended up staying home most nights and cooking a family dinner. We all loved being just across from the ocean and spent lots of time on the beautiful beach. We hope to restart our family tradition of visiting each summer!

“Paradise at the beach!”

This place was fabulous! If you ever wanted to stay on a beachfront location in South Carolina, then, this is the place. This was the 1st time that we stayed in a rented home rather than a hotel and we will never go back to hotel. The comfort that you get just makes this place absolutely enjoyable. You can’t get any closer to the beach than this. It was very clean and beautiful inside. Plenty of room, a nice deck, front porch and privacy are just a few things that sum up “Joyce’s Place”. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Being pet friendly makes a vacation that much more enjoyable for a family, with no more worrying about how the dog is back at home, while you are away. Plenty of covered parking on the property with a very nice front yard as well. We had absolutely no complaints and will return every year for our vacation. I highly recommend this home as you vacation spot – you will not be sorry!

The location of the house is great. Not on the beach, but at the walkway to the beach. Canal on back side of house was added bonus. Plenty of room for all of our family. We did not get in the way of each other, but were close enough to enjoy ourselves. All eleven of us had a great time and will come back in the future.
